Made in Finland
Woodio products are sustainably crafted in the factory in Helsinki, respecting the environment at every stage of the production chain. Sustainable practices are upheld with PEFC/FSC-certified wood suppliers, aligning with EU taxonomy and values through the supplier code of conduct. Throughout production, rigorous quality checks are conducted at three key stages, ensuring unparalleled quality.
Bio-Material
Material of a new era
What once initially seemed impossible has evolved into a paradigm of sustainable bathroom design for residential and commercial interiors worldwide. From Nordic roots, Woodio have pioneered a modern yet timeless bio-material wood composite to curate our Woodio® collection of functional, diverse washbasins and toilet.
During an almost carbon neutral manufacturing process in the Helsinki factory, a mix of responsibly sourced wood chips and resin-based binders are combined to create a waterproof and impact resistant material that acts as a carbon sink during its product lifespan.
When the products near the end of their life cycle, they can be efficiently incinerated to generate energy from its waste.
