Woodio UK Warranty Terms and Conditions
We provide our customers with a 5 year warranty on all Woodio products (washbasins and bathtub) for use under our warranty terms.

The Woodio UK warranty lasts for 5 years starting from the date of purchase. When making a claim you will need the original receipt as proof of purchase.

The customer must notify Woodio info@woodiouk.com or the place of purchase of any defect in the product within a reasonable time after detection of the defect, but not later than two (2) months after the defect has been detected. The warranty will be void if the defect is not reported within the time limit.

When reporting a defect, the following information must be provided:

  • Customer’s name, address, postcode and telephone number
  • Product model name, product code / product serial number
  • Receipt or photocopy of the receipt
  • The place and date of purchase of the product (shown on the receipt)
  • A brief description of the problem, and a photograph if possible

What is covered under this warranty?
This warranty covers function, materials and workmanship in all Woodio UK products.

What is not covered under this limited warranty?
This warranty does not cover changes in the appearance of the product unless they have a significant effect on function.

The warranty does not apply to products that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. The warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. The warranties do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or if the products have been used for non-domestic purposes (unless otherwise stated). The warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages. The warranty is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product.

Care instructions
To be able to claim this warranty you need to follow the specific care instructions for the product. You will find care instructions with the installation instructions you have received with your product or on our website woodiouk.com

What will be done to correct the problem?
Woodio UK will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under the warranty. Woodio UK will then, at its choice, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In these cases, Woodio will be responsible for the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff that Woodio UK incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without Woodio incurring additional expenditure to gain access. This will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorised by Woodio UK. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of Woodio UK. If the item is no longer sold by Woodio UK, Woodio UK will provide an appropriate replacement. Woodio UK will decide at its discretion, what will constitute an appropriate replacement.

General legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. This limited warranty does not, in any way, affect the rights given to you by law.
