Our Woodio® material is an innovative composite consisting of natural wood and resin-based binders, with 50% bio-content.
Are Woodio® products sustainable?
Absolutely! Woodio® leads the way in eco-conscious designer bathroom products. The production of Woodio consumes significantly less energy compared to traditional ceramic sanitaryware, which requires heating clay at extreme temperatures. Our products are made through a molding process that does not require extreme heating and uses little water.
Hardly any waste is generated during production, and thanks to the use of wood particles as raw material, Woodio products are also lighter to handle. Our material innovation and production method remarkably reduce carbon emissions associated with sanitaryware.
Is the material really waterproof?
Absolutely, 100%. Woodio® material and all our products are crafted from a 100% waterproof solid wood composite material, fortified with a UV, scratch, chemical, and dirt-resistant coating. Compared to similar ceramic bathroom materials in the market, our Woodio® material outperforms them on impact resistance, making it extremely robust and suitable for everyday use and high-traffic use.
How long does a Woodio® product last?
Our Woodio® washbasins require little maintenance and boast an expected lifespan equivalent to, if not surpassing, that of traditional bathroom materials and products.
How do I care for my Woodio® UK washbasin?
To maintain your Woodio® washbasin, simply use a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive dish detergent or soap on areas where needed. Avoid the use of wool or any hard, sharp tools that may potentially scratch the basin's surface.
Are Woodio®'s products suitable for residential projects?
Of course! Our collection includes a wide selection of different washbasin models and toilet that are suitable for commercial and residential properties from offices, hotels, bars, restaurants to private homes.
What types of wood material are available for your washbasin?
Our product collection is currently available in Aspen with two different chip thicknesses (Aspen 2mm and Aspen 5mm) and in a fine mix of Spruce and Pine.
How accurate are your colour samples?
Due to the organic nature of our material, the colours and textures in our final products may vary slightly, which makes our washbasins and toilet products truly unique to your space.
